Erin Shaw
RYT 200

Samantha teaches alignment-based vinyasa yoga with an emphasis on finding the middle path during practice and in life. She teaches on average 18 classes a week that vary between corporate yoga, private yoga and group classes at YogiVibes.

She has been practicing yoga since 2008 and teaching full-time since 2014. She is an E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance after receiving her initial training at Wilmington Yoga Center and then her 500-hour training with Cyndi Lee.

At the heart of her classes are community and playfulness. Her students get to know each other, build relationships and have fun while moving, sweating and breathing together.

Jessica McGovern
RYT 200

Jessica McGovern, RYT 200, started her path to Yoga upon reading Eric Schiffmann’s ’Moving into Stillness’. Taken as an avenue to connect and, perhaps more accurately, re-connect with the body, mind, and spirit, Yoga has proven to be a transformative experience.

After several years of home practice, extensive research into the teachings of Iyengar, David Coulter, Desikachar, Yin and Restorative schools of Yoga, she completed her 200-hour training with Yogaworks under the tutelage of Sarah Bell at Triangle Yoga Shala.

Jes believes that Yoga does not need to be constrained by one particular method or style but, rather, by synthesizing (and continuing to incorporate new knowledge) one can maximize the benefits of many different avenues to achieve internal harmony.

Jacquitta Boone
RYT 200

Jacquitta Boone began her yoga journey in December of 2014 and is now a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher as of May 2017 after completing her training with Samantha Harrison at Yogivibes Studio.

She teaches an Alignment-based Vinyasa Style yoga with a focus on body and self awareness. Having recently completed her MBA from East Carolina University while working full time, Jacquitta knows the importance of self-care. She emphasizes the self-care in her classes which create an environment of awareness and acceptance through encouraging students to recognize that their practice is their own and may not look like everyone else's.

Jill Williams
RYT 200

Jill started her yoga journey while she was in graduate school where she learned the benefits of practicing Yoga for the mind, body and spirit. As a teacher, Jill wants to help people understand the connection of yoga to a better way of life.

Jill teaches in the public school system and has been teaching for more than 28 years. She has a BFA from East Carolina University and a MA from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Dance Education.

Jill is currently working at DH Conley High School and acts as the Department Chair for the Arts Department.

Jill completed Samantha Harrison's Yoga Teacher Training in May of 2018.

Meet our Teachers:

Erin Shaw is a vinyasa yoga teacher whose classes combine challenging poses, breath work and a dose of playfulness.

She completed her 200-hour teacher training with

Samantha Harrison at YogiVibes in May 2018.

Erin started practicing yoga nearly 10 years ago to target muscle imbalances from cross country running. (If you have tight hips, as most runners do, Erin knows your pain!)

She is well-versed in everything from sweaty power yoga to relaxing restorative yoga. Come to her class to experience a little of both. Her goal as a teacher is for you to leave with strength in your muscles and peace in your mind.

Outside the studio, Erin enjoys hiking, reading the New York Times and writing freelance articles about music.
